Hola,

a bit about me:

Shajuanda Caprice blossomed and continues to reach for the sun in Louisville, KY, with her two children and Shih Tzu Bugsy.

Shajuanda Caprice is a graduate of the University of Louisville and served on the University of Louisville's African American Alumni Council (2019-2020).  She also received her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan; both degrees not only build confidence but lay the foundation of her educational and career development.  She teaches as an adjunct professor in the IWU school of business, concentrating in healthcare administration courses.

Her first flower to bloom in the literary world was her food blog.  Happyeatinglouisville.com created a platform for her to share her love of food.  That site has been shifted into this personal site.  Please visit the happy eating blog section to discover amazing food across Louisville, KY.

Shajuanda Caprice LOVES natural hair.  The journey to natural was not an easy one.  Growing healthy hair can be difficult.  Determined to grow her natural hair, lead to a small business tailored for other women also struggling to grow their hair.

Satin Beanies are satin lined beanies made to protect and foster healthy growing hair.  The affordable beanies are amazing to sleep in, wear on a rough hair day or lounge around in, however you wear them you feel great knowing your hair is protected from damage and split ends.

Shajuanda Caprice is also the event coordinator for the Black Paperback Book Fair in Louisville Ky.  This book fair celebrates and supports local black writers, and provides some representation of black writers in Louisville Ky.  The event is held in Iroquois park and consists of book vendor booths, food trucks and games.

“The secret to eternal life, is the good you do for others.”- Shajuanda Caprice
